About Colorado Blue Sky Chapter
The Colorado Blue Sky chapter meets once a month, often providing an impactful speaker or to enjoy the Annual Tea or Recognition Event. In addition, each grade level class is divided into Ticktocker classes, and they have their own meetings, which are guided by a Grade Level Advisor. Often the Ticktockers are doing cooking classes or self defense lessons, as well as making blankets for charity or cards for the military. The Ticktockers vote on their own Board, and learn to arrange their own activities and philanthropies.
The chapter also has Philanthropy Liaisons who arrange hours of charitable work throughout Denver and the metro area. Each Patroness and Ticktocker can then access the NCL, Inc. website to see the calendar of events, and register electronically for a desired philanthropy event or chapter meeting.
Cultural activities such as an art exhibit, a Broadway show or musical, or the symphony are also promoted. There is no obligation to attend, but often a performer is a chapter Ticktocker, or we are able to arrange discount tickets through our organization. Thus, Colorado Blue Sky National Charity League, Inc. encourages mothers and daughters to have a positive effect upon the community but also allows quality time together during the fleeting teenage years.
